Job summary

OPmobility SE is seeking a Production Planning Specialist in Niemce, Poland, to craft and manage production plans aligned with orders and forecasts. You will coordinate schedules, monitor execution, and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimized resources.

Ideal candidates bring SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and a customer‑oriented approach. English (B2) and Polish are essential for daily operations in a multilingual environment within the automotive

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, material planning, or a similar planning role.
• Knowledge of production and logistics processes, including MRP.
• SAP proficiency is mandatory.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical ability.
• English at B2 level; Polish for day-to-day communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop short, medium, and long-term production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and production capacity.
• Create and update production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of production resources.
• Monitor production plan execution, identify potential delays or capacity constraints, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding order status, delivery dates, quantities, and changes in demand.
• Coordinate with production, material planning, logistics and other internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage customer orders and production orders in SAP, ensuring accurate and up-to-date planning data.
• Monitor inventory levels of finished goods, semi-finished products, and materials to support production continuity.
• Analyze planning performance, delivery reliability, and relevant KPIs, and prepare regular reports.
• Identify risks affecting customer deliveries and coordinate solutions with relevant stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in production planning, material planning, or a similar planning role
• Knowledge of production and logistics processes, including MRP principles
• Good knowledge of SAP is mandatory
• Good command of MS Excel and strong analytical skills
• English language skills at B2 level
• Polish language skills are essential for effective day-to-day communication
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple activities simultaneously, and work effectively under time pressure
• Automotive industry experience is an advantage, particularly experience in material planning
