Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking engineers to turn AI architectures into production services in a hands-on role. You will write Python, connect cloud infrastructure, and tackle data quality, latency, evaluation, and deployment across Azure, AWS or GCP.

Work spans generative and classic AI, with a focus on production readiness, monitoring, and observable systems. Polish residency is required, with country-wide collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in software or ML engineering with hands-on production AI/ML work.
• Strong Python skills with production-grade code quality and testing.
• Practical experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or equivalents.
• Working knowledge of one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) and its AI/ML services.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems in real-world apps.
• Familiarity with MLOps basics: versioning, experiment tracking, CI/CD for ML, monitoring.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with architects, data engineers, and product teams.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and fluent Polish; residing in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy knowledge-grounded AI systems end-to-end: data ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, re-ranking, and response generation.
• Develop agentic applications — tool integrations, planning loops, memory management, guardrails.
• Implement and maintain ML pipelines for prediction, classification, recommendation, and optimization tasks.
• Deploy and optimize model serving infrastructure: API endpoints, batching, caching, GPU usage, cloud cost control.
• Write clean, tested, production-grade Python code.
• Create evaluation and monitoring pipelines with quality checks and drift detection.
• Work with cloud-native AI services on Azure, AWS or GCP to deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with AI Architects and data engineers on data quality and availability.
