Sii Poland is hiring experienced software/ML engineers to build AI systems that run in production beyond notebooks. You will translate architectures into scalable, observable services on Azure, AWS, or GCP, writing Python, wiring cloud infrastructure, and tackling data quality, latency, and deployment challenges.

The role spans generative and classical AI, with hands-on work on knowledge-grounded systems, integration of LLMs, ML pipelines, and production-grade tooling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software or ML engineering delivering production AI systems.
• Strong Python skills for production code.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or equivalents.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP AI/ML services.
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems.
• Familiarity with MLOps: versioning, experiment tracking, CI/CD for ML, and monitoring.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with architects and data engineers.
• Fluent English and Polish; residing in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge-grounded AI systems end-to-end: data ingestion, chunking, embedding pipelines, retrieval logic, re-ranking, and response generation.
• Develop agentic applications with tool integrations, planning loops, memory management, guardrails.
• Implement and maintain ML pipelines for classical use cases: prediction, classification, recommendation, and optimization models.
• Deploy and optimize model serving infrastructure: API endpoints, batching, caching, GPU utilization, and cost management across cloud environments.
• Write clean, tested, production-grade Python.
• Build evaluation and monitoring pipelines: automated quality checks, drift detection, latency tracking, and human-in-the-loop feedback loops.
• Work with cloud-native AI services on Azure, AWS, or GCP to implement scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with AI Architects and data engineers on technical design and data quality.
