Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Product Technical Leader - Aftermarket to drive remanufacturing and new product introductions for Commercial Vehicles. The role is based at the Czechowice-Dziedzice plant with potential for remote work, collaborating with suppliers, R&D and production to define specs and test plans.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering degree, Fluent English (B2+), knowledge of automotive standards, and Catia skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering.
• Engineering mindset, including reverse engineering.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Fluent English (minimum B2).
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards.
• Teamwork spirit, creative and dynamic.
• Knowledge of Catia 3D/2D is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic Commercial Vehicle Transmissions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement new and remanufactured products for Commercial Vehicles.
• Be the technical contact for OES customers.
• Design new components for remanufactured products with Design Review with suppliers.
• Manage R&D documentation in PLM.
• Define product requirements and specs with customers.
• Define test specifications and scope of tests.
• Issuing DVP&R—defining test specifications, test requirements and test plan.
• Lead Proof of Concept activities including prototypes assembly and prototypes testing.
• Supervising tests in the Test Center located in EU.
• Contributing to P-30 plan in CV perimeter.
• Creating R&D Standards.
• Supporting production team.
• Managing product life.
• Implementation engineering changes to modify existing products to keep them in production and/or implement replacements.
• Leading car tests linked with communication and cooperation between different vehicle electric and electronic systems.
