Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead Tax and Accounts Payable technology initiatives in a global enterprise. You will translate business needs into a clear product vision, prioritize backlogs, and ensure alignment with regulatory and enterprise objectives across SAP and related tools.

The role interfaces with Tax, AP, Finance, Procurement, and IT, driving continuous improvement and agile delivery while ensuring solutions meet compliance and scale requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree or MBA would be an advantage.
• SAP, PMP, ITIL, Agile, Scrum Product Owner, or related certification would be an advantage.
• Experience developing, implementing, and supporting technology products in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience acting as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Process Lead, Functional Lead, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for Tax and Accounts Payable technology products.
• Own and manage the product backlog, maximizing value and minimizing risk.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Ensure backlog items meet the definition of ready and done before sprint planning and release.
• Act as the product subject matter expert for Tax and Accounts Payable processes, systems, and integrations.
