Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Product Introduction Support Manager to coordinate activities between the manufacturing site and the warranty implementation team, driving problem solving and product modifications. The role requires leadership, stakeholder liaison, and strong English to run technical meetings.

Knowledge of rolling stock and railway safety is essential for a successful candidate. Mandatory: engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years in technical scope execution and coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience executing and coordinating technical scope.
• Ability to liaise with and drive multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Structured communication aptitude; clear reporting and synthesis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities between manufacturing site and warranty team for problem solving and product modifications.
• Ensure all product issues impacting reliability growth are addressed with quality, engineering, and industrial teams.
• Secure field modifications preparation with material, tools and documentation package.
• Supervise logistics and materials for consignment stock, delivery and repair loops (including over warranty lifetime).
• Regularly monitor budget vs forecast.
• Contribute to claims and negotiations with external suppliers regarding Product Introduction activities.
• Ensure compliance to ISO and EHS standards for Product Introduction teams.
• Support PI Supplier Performance Managers in back‑charging with relevant PI documentation.

Main mission & objectives:

• Coordinate activities between manufacturing site and warranty implementation team related to problem solving and product modifications
• Ensure all product issues impacting reliability growth are addressed to relevant stakeholders (eg. quality, engineering, industrial)
• Secure field modifications preparation with definition of material, tools and documentation package
• Supervise logistic/materials in Alstom manufacturing site with regards to consignment stock availability, delivery and repair loop (including over warranty lifetime)
• Regular monitoring of budget (actual vs forecast)
• Contribute to claims and negotiations with external supplier (regarding Product Introduction activities)
• Ensure compliance to standard processes (ISO, EHS) for Product Introduction teams
• Support PI Supplier Performance Managers in back‑charging process with ensuring relevant PI documentation

Educational Requirements:

• Engineering University Degree or equivalent
• French or German will be an advantage
