Job summary

Avon Polska is seeking a Package Engineer on a fixed-term basis to lead packaging development and commercialization across the region. You will collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and external suppliers to balance quality, cost, and sustainability while meeting deadlines and budgets.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or Science and around five years in FMCG, packaging, or related fields, with strong project management and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Around 5 years of experience within FMCG, Supply Chain, Packaging, R&D, or another relevant technical or commercial environment.
• Experience in product and packaging development.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work in matrix teams with external partners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient English skills.
• Experience working in a global or international business environment.
• Strong problem solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, new product development, and packaging supply networks would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop packaging specifications meeting design, quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead packaging activities for new product development and commercialization projects.
• Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders across R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and external suppliers.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve packaging development challenges.
• Support packaging sustainability initiatives and corporate responsibility goals.
• Drive value engineering projects to improve efficiency and generate savings.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and manufacturing standards.
