Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Product Deployment Specialist to deliver and configure business travel POS tools for clients. You will combine project management with deep technical knowledge of travel platforms in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong coordination with stakeholders, data validation for configurations, and hands-on work with OBTs and GDS systems. English communication skills are essential for collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of overall experience, including at least 24 consecutive months working with OBT platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in GDS systems such as Sabre and/or Galileo and/or Amadeus is essential; Apollo is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment and configuration of business travel POS tools for offline bookings.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather data for system configurations and act as the deployment contact.
• Track milestones, identify risks, and mitigate issues through collaboration.
• Provide tailored configurations for client requirements using GDS platforms.
• Maintain relationships with clients and internal teams during deployments and ongoing support.
• Support integration and configuration of Online Booking Tools (OBTs) like Concur, DEEM, GetThere.

Your role

As a Product Deployment Specialist, you will be at the heart of delivering and configuring business travel Point of Sale (POS) tools for our clients, combining project management expertise with deep technical knowledge of travel platforms. You will work in a fast-paced, milestone-driven environment where your ability to coordinate, communicate and problem-solve will be key to success.

Your tasks

• Leading end-to-end deployment and configuration of business travel Point of Sale (POS) tools for offline travel bookings, ensuring all client requirements are met accurately and on time
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather and validate data elements required for system configurations, acting as the central point of contact throughout the deployment lifecycle
• Participating actively in project calls, tracking progress against milestones, identifying risks and dependencies early, and working collaboratively with teams to develop and execute mitigation plans
• Providing tailored solutions for custom client requirements, leveraging in-depth knowledge of GDS platforms such as Sabre, Galileo, and Amadeus to deliver best-fit configurations
• Managing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, Account Executives, General Managers, and Operations teams throughout both new client deployments and ongoing maintenance of existing clients
• Supporting the integration and configuration of Online Booking Tools (OBTs) such as Concur, DEEM, GetThere, and others, ensuring seamless alignment with client travel programmes
• Utilising tools such as Salesforce and Freshservice to track deployment activities, manage workflows, and maintain accurate project records, while ensuring timely and transparent reporting to all stakeholders

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of overall experience, including at least 24 consecutive months working with OBT platforms, with hands‑on expertise in GDS systems - in‑depth knowledge of Sabre and/or Galileo and/or Amadeus is essential, with Apollo experience considered a strong advantage
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder deployment projects in a projectised environment, with a strong track record of delivering against tight timelines and milestones, combined with excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Demonstrated experience working across diverse, cross‑functional teams and managing client relationships at multiple levels, including with senior stakeholders such as Account Executives and General Managers, with prior experience in travel management company operations, partnerships, and service providers being a distinct advantage
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations, think creatively and outside the box, and propose effective solutions to non‑standard client requirements, supported by solid proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce and Freshservice
