Job summary

Brickendon Consulting is seeking an experienced Product Control Specialist for one of our Banking clients. You will work closely with Product Control, Front Office and IT to understand data and processes, and you will gain exposure to front-to-back flows for several financial instruments.

This role is based in Krakow with travel to the Krakow office roughly twice a month. A minimum of 3–5 years in analysis within financial institutions and strong VBA/SQL proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years analysis experience in financial institutions or investment banks.
• Project Delivery experience of at least 1 year.
• 3+ years in either Product Control or Valuation Control; strong knowledge of Product Control processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Control Change, Front Office and IT to understand data and processes.
• Understand front-to-back flows for various financial instruments.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies.
• Understand the front to back flows for various financial instruments.
• Daily P&L and financial exposure reporting; provide P&L explain, attribution and commentary.
• Fully attribute daily P&L changes and manage impacts on FO systems, regulatory or business changes.
• Establish requirements roadmap and planning of changes; analyse processes for improvements.
• Actively manage and drive improvements in the process to close the books and records, ensuring accuracy of legal entity, regional, regulatory and external financial statements, consistency between management P&L and general ledger, and proper substantiation of balance sheet accounts
