Job summary

Capco Poland is seeking a Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives in the banking sector. You will work with business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to analyze requirements, improve processes, and implement regulatory and technology-driven changes.

The role emphasizes collaboration across risk, compliance, and IT teams, as responsible for end-to-end delivery, including UAT and change management. Hybrid work with periodic office visits in Kraków.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, compliance and IT teams.
• Translate business needs into clear specifications for technical teams.
• Support end-to-end project delivery, from initiation through implementation.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE).
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, AML, Basel).
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Support change management activities, including documentation and training materials.
• Monitor project progress and assist in risk and issue management.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder communication.

Role Overview:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, compliance, and IT teams

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services
• Experience in developing digital banking application
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulations
• Experience working on regulatory, risk, or digital transformation projects
• Ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders effectively
• Knowledge of requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GRC, risk, or compliance-related initiatives
• Knowledge of payments, lending, or capital markets
• Understanding of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI)
• Certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum)
