Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Business Services Poland in Wrocław is seeking a Procurement Specialist fluent in French to join our European procurement team. You will process indirect purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and support stakeholders across departments.

You should have at least one year of procurement or sourcing experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and speak French at least B2 and English at communicative B1–B2.

The position

Looking for a role where you are responsible not only for purchase orders processing but also play a key role in providing the goods and services needed on time? Tasks & responsibilities

As a Procurement Specialist with French, you will be responsible for:

• Processing and creating indirect purchase requisitions submitted by internal employees across various departments and countries, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Creating purchase orders for goods and services provided by external suppliers.

• Conducting quality checks and audits of procurement requests and supporting documentation.

• Supporting internal stakeholders in the creation of purchase requisitions.

• Responding to inquiries from internal employees regarding procurement processes and procedures.

• Performing additional Plant Maintenance-related activities, such as creating and updating Purchase Info Records.

• Providing support to stakeholders with training-related requests and procurement reporting.

About our future employee

You should speak French (min. B2) and English (communicative B1-B2) and have min. 1 year of experience in a procurement or sourcing position. We are also open for candidates from other Finance areas (especially Order to Cash) if you demonstrate the willingness to learn on the job.

Additionally, we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Customer orientation even in difficult situations and in contact with higher hierarchy levels.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience with SAP IT systems - weBuy, SAP ERP preferred.
