Job summary

Guardian Glass in Katowice is seeking a Procurement specialist to support the procurement team. You will partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, validate requisitions, and review quotations, while helping to optimize the purchasing process.

You will train Plant Users on ordering and manage procurement systems, POs, and related tasks, coordinating with Sourcing, Finance, and Tax. You’ll ensure compliance with policy and drive value through cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement and supply processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas).
• Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and validate purchase requisitions, including review of quotations.
• Provide training and ongoing support to Plant Users on the ordering process.
• Manage procurement systems and Purchase Orders, including PO aging clean-up and closure.
• Collaborate with the Sourcing Team and other departments such as Finance and Tax.
• Ensure all processes comply with Procurement strategy, policies and internal controls.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver value and meet Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) expectations.
