Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a Knowledge Analyst to join the Centre of Procurement Excellence for Operations in Wroclaw or Lisbon. You will contribute to end-to-end procurement programs across industries, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology; MBA/masters preferred.
1+ years of experience in procurement or consulting.
Expertise in sourcing, supplier management, category management, costing, negotiations, and PO management.
Experience with e-procurement tools is advantageous.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; analytics software helpful.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Fluent English; additional European languages valued.

Responsibilities

Support client service through end-to-end procurement workstreams.
Deliver insights on spend analysis, should-cost modeling, and contract analysis.
Assist in supplier identification, savings ideas, and sourcing strategy development.
Support proposals and knowledge-building efforts with procurement capabilities.
Travel extensively to client locations as required.
