Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Kraków is seeking an HR Process Specialist to support end-to-end HR processes for the German market. You will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution across the employee lifecycle, with openness to cross‑process collaboration and continuous learning beyond a single HR stream.

The role requires German language at B2/C1 level, experience in HR operations, and familiarity with Global HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP. Hybrid work from a modern Kraków office is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR operations, ideally in shared services or international environment.
• German language at least B2/C1 level (business-fluent).
• Understanding of hire-to-retire HR processes and payroll inputs.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Open to change, learning and cross-functional work.
• Experience with Global HRIS platforms (Workday or SAP) and Case Management tools (ServiceNow or similar).

Responsibilities

• Execute daily HR operations across all stages of the employee lifecycle (hire to retire), including onboarding, changes, offboarding and personnel administration.
• Support payroll input preparation and validation (data accuracy, deadlines, compliance).
• Maintain employee data in HR systems in line with German labour law and internal standards.
• Handle employee and stakeholder inquiries in German (written and verbal).
• Follow SOPs and work instructions across HR streams; identify gaps and improvements.
• Collaborate with other HR streams to ensure end-to-end process continuity; share knowledge.

As a HR Process Specialist

you will support end-to-end HR processes for the German market, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely execution of operational HR activities across the employee lifecycle. The role requires openness to cross-process collaboration and continuous learning beyond a single HR stream.

What You Will Be Doing

Operational

• Execute daily HR operations across all stages of the employee lifecycle (hire to retire), including onboarding, changes, offboarding and personnel administration
• Support payroll input preparation and validation (data accuracy, deadlines, compliance)
• Maintain employee data in HR systems in line with German labour law and internal standards
• Handle employee and stakeholder inquiries in German (written and verbal)

Process & Quality

• Follow existing SOPs and work instructions across all HR streams
• Identify process gaps, inconsistencies or improvement opportunities and escalated them proactively
• Support updates of SOPs and work instructions based on process changes or learnings

Collaboration & Mindset

• Collaborate with other HR streams to ensure end-to-end process continuity
• Actively participate in cross-process knowledge sharing and backup coverage
• Demonstrate openness to learning tasks outside the primary assigned stream

Compliance & Risk Awareness

• Apply German labour law basics and internal compliance rules in daily operations
• Flag risks, deviations or unclear cases to Senior Team Members or Process Owner

Essential Requirements

• Experience in HR operations, preferably in a shared services or international environment
• German at minimum B2/C1 level (business‑fluent)
• Basic understanding of hire-to-retire HR processes and payroll inputs
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline
• Openness to change, learning and cross‑functional work
• An experience with Global HRIS platforms (preferably Workday or SAP) and Case Management tools (ServiceNow or other)
