Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland sp. z o. o. in Jawor is seeking a Process Engineer for the Body Shop to help plan and establish the new production system for the VAN.EA project.

You will design and ramp up body shop processes, manage subprojects, coordinate with vehicle development and production units, and ensure milestones are met.

The role requires a university degree in mechanical engineering and proven project management, with fluency in Polish and English (German optional).

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in production planning or body shop systems planning or process technology.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with a results focus.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate interdisciplinarily.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and openness to change.
• Good IT skills, especially CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Languages: fluent Polish and English; German where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and establish the new production system for the VAN.EA vehicle project.
• Plan bodyshop processes and production lines for the Jawor facility.
• Manage subprojects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design, implement and ramp up production processes for the new vehicle series.
• Plan production technologies, equipment and work processes; oversee suppliers and ensure timeline.
• Prepare and perform acceptance inspections for equipment and procedures.
