Job summary

GEA Group in Poland seeks a technically skilled engineer to supervise production processes and implement improvements for higher efficiency. You will work with quality, tooling and purchasing teams to ensure accurate documentation and smooth operation.

The role requires CAD proficiency, ERP experience with routings/BOMs, and strong analytical and communication skills, with at least a communicative level of English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read technical drawings.
• Experience with CAD programs is required.
• Experience in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques is required.
• Experience with ERP modules for Routings and BOMs is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• English at least at a communicative level.

Job description

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Technological supervision over production process
• Implementation of new and optimization of existing technological processes in order to increase efficiency and productivity
• Supervision of technological documentation
• Close cooperation with other departments including quality control department, tooling department, and purchasing department
• Support in preparing quotations for new products
• Collaborating with GEA's technology and design departments to streamline the process of designing new products for optimal and efficient manufacturing
• Selection of tools for manufactured parts
• Developing workstation instructions in the manufacturing area
• Designing and supervising the manufacturing of fixtures necessary for the implementation of production
• Solving technological problems during current production

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Higher technical education, preferably in mechanical engineering
• Experience in a similar position within a manufacturing company
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques
• Knowledge of CAD programs
• Managing of ERP software in the area of technological modules (Routings and BOMs)
• Analytical thinking skills, problem‑solving abilities, and strategic thinking
• Very well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Goal‑oriented approach
• At least a communicative level of English
