Job summary

Visa seeks a senior privacy lawyer to act as a subject-matter expert on privacy across Visa’s products and services. The role involves advising on GDPR, data protection, cyber and AI laws in Europe, and drafting privacy-related contracts.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external counsel, manage data subject rights requests, and help advance Visa's Global Privacy Program with a keen eye for regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• At least a few years of PQE in privacy law or related field.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills for privacy contracts and policies.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proven analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject-matter expert on privacy in Visa's products and services.
• Provide legal advice on GDPR, data protection, cyber and AI laws in Europe.
• Draft and negotiate privacy-related contracts and agreements.
• Assist with data subject rights requests.
• Contribute to the Global Privacy Program and regulatory change management.
