Autodesk is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer to play a key role in advancing Autodesk Revit, the world-leading Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. In this position, you will contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of Revit, focusing on creating high-quality software solutions for electrical system design and detailing. As a Principal Software Development Engineer, your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on the workflows of electrical engineering and detailing within Revit. The software you help build is essential to architects, engineers, and other professionals in the building industry, supporting the design of significant structures worldwide. From the tallest skyscrapers and largest airports to iconic landmarks, homes, and everyday businesses, Revit enables innovative design and construction projects across the globe.Revit’s engineering team brings intelligence and efficiency to the building design and development process by solving complex software problems. Your responsibilities will range across the stack as you work with the product owner, experienced designer, and other engineers to develop and maintain Revit. **Responsibilities:** Estimate and breakdown tasks for projects undertaken and ensure completion on time.Communicate with the product owner, user experience designer and customers to understand requirements.**Minimum Qualifications** 8+ years’ experience in C++ and .NET/C# programming.Excellent debugging and refactoring skills Ability to work effectively within a highly collaborative environment with colleagues around the world.
