Job summary

Dell Łódź is seeking a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer to drive GOQ metrics, improve factory QA processes, and lead investigations into customer escalations in a global manufacturing setting.

You will design strategic QA projects, mentor team members, and act as the main liaison with customers and senior stakeholders across the organization, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in product quality.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering (IT/Electronics) or quality management.
• Strong understanding of core manufacturing processes and product design.

Principal Quality Assurance Engineer

Join usas a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer on our Global Operations Quality team in Łódź, Poland to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible to support Global Operations Quality (GOQ) in managing Dell and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) factory quality metrics such as First Pass Yield (FPY), End of Line Quality Metric (EQM) and Missing, Wrong, Damaged (MWD). You will also have responsibility for setting up and improving factory quality inspection processes aligned with ISO and regulatory compliance programs, driving investigations related to customer quality escalations, and performing Closed-loop Corrective Actions (CLCA) on issues.

You will work with stakeholders across the Product & Operations organization to build and maintain a quality culture built on continuous improvement methods which is focused on meeting or exceeding our customer’s expectations.

You will:

• Uses judgment within broadly defined policies and practices. Work is accomplished without considerable direction

• Interacts with management and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines

Essential Requirements

• University degree, preferably in engineering domain (IT, Electronics) and/or quality management.
• Advanced understanding of core manufacturing processes, engineering theory and electronic and mechanical design.
• Advanced knowledge of all local processes that are relevant to successful product design and launches.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and time management skills with ability to work independently.
• Fluency in English and Polish and proficiency in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI),
