Job summary

InPost is seeking a Principal Engineer to join the Consumer & Merchant Experience team. The role is a senior IC with global scope, shaping long-term technology direction and solving complex problems across domains.

You will influence architectural standards, lead cross-team initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with the CTO and product teams to drive customer-focused platform delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems.
• 3+ years of technical impact beyond a single team in a Staff/Principal/Architect or equivalent role.
• Experience making architectural decisions with long-term impact across multiple teams.
• Strong English proficiency (C1) in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural standards across the technology organization.
• Lead cross-team and cross-domain technical initiatives.
• Mentor Staff Engineers and help develop the next generation of technical leaders.
• Represent InPost in the engineering community through conferences, publications and industry initiatives.
• Work with technical and business stakeholders to connect architectural direction with product needs.
• Support technical due diligence related to strategic partnerships and M&A.
