Job summary

In this exciting opportunity, you will join Heineken’s Global Procurement as a Project Manager to deliver Sequoia, our Europe Supply Chain Transformation Programme.

Responsibilities
  • Support with the delivery of the procurement-enabled savings ambitions for Sequoia across all workstreams, both Global and with OpCo’s.
  • Guide and execute the pipeline of savings initiatives and lead cross-functional, cross-operational companies' discussions, ideations through to implementation.
  • Escalate activities that are running behind with activity owners and help them in obtaining appropriate resources/support/methodology where necessary.
  • Manage, influence and lead a number of European operating companies towards full SNOW delivery.
  • Provide regular reports on progress for the Sequoia TMO/SteerCo to make progress and risk areas visible and transparent.
  • Support the design and execution of value unlock for AP-SP.
  • Ensuring the incorporation of Sequoia Procurement practices into the newly developed procurement operating model.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent. Master's degree, purchasing, and/or Business qualification desirable (CIPS/MBA).
  • Work experience: 3-5 years in procurement, technical, financial or supply chain roles; prior experience in project management required. Required work experience in the field of expertise: Project management skills and experience are essential. Demonstrated experience in procurement strategy development and delivery, category management, and sourcing of materials across multiple countries. The ideal candidate also has strong Problem solving skill, the ability to navigate and feel comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment. A Self-Starter with a positive mindset.
  • Functional skills: Strong people management skills, analytical abilities, strong business acumen, cost modelling, project management, Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages an advantage.
