Job summary

Cognizant is seeking Service Desk Support Representatives for its Budapest, Hungary office. The role involves delivering first-line IT support to clients in Polish with intermediate English, handling calls, emails and web queries, and logging tickets in our system.

You will escalate complex issues to Level 2 and strive to maintain high customer satisfaction. The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to work 8-hour shifts in a multilingual, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Polish and English language skills required (upper-intermediate or better).
• Experience in IT service desk or customer service is a plus.
• High School diploma required.
• Willingness to work in 8-hour shifts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve IT issues as first point of contact (Level 1 IT support).
• Handle end-user calls, web queries via tools, phone and email.
• Log calls and document accurately in the ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 teams.
• Keep users informed and follow up on ongoing cases.
• Maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
