Job summary

Payward Services, the infrastructure arm behind Kraken, is seeking a Platform Product Manager to own end-to-end roadmaps for regulated B2B2C products such as KYC/KYB, lending, and unified APIs.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to define requirements, ship products, and ensure regulatory alignment while scaling flows for a global client base. This role emphasizes hands-on product discipline and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong product management with roadmap ownership and shipping B2B/B2C products.
• Direct hands-on KYC implementation experience, in-house or via provider.
• Experience building platform products (APIs) in a B2B/B2C context.
• Comfort with technical collaboration with Engineering, not just external management.
• Experience in regulated financial environments and understanding how regulation shapes product decisions.
• Track record driving complex cross-functional builds without formal authority.
• Excellent communication with regulators, boards, engineers, and partners.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Services industry and regulatory impact on product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for B2B2C platform products (KYC/KYB, lending, unified APIs).
• Define requirements, partner with Engineering on execution, and drive from concept through launch and iteration.
• Get hands-on with the product flow and identify changes needed to scale in a regulated environment.
• Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to ship product.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure builds meet regulatory requirements during design, not downstream.
• Support operational functions tied to US regulated entities as needed to keep product work moving.
