Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Product Manager to shape the future of Payward's payments platform. You will own the product vision from backend architecture to hosted pages, SDKs, and APIs, coordinating with engineering and partnerships to deliver a coherent developer experience.

You will gather requirements from internal teams, prioritize the roadmap, and work with compliance and security to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience in platform/API/infrastructure contexts.
Strong knowledge of payments flows (pay-ins/payments) and banking rails.
Ability to read RFCs, specify APIs, and communicate clearly with engineers.
Experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, or embeddable UI components.
Excellent written communication and ability to align multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own the product vision and roadmap for the Payward payments platform and its integration surfaces.
Map requirements from internal clients to evolve platform capabilities and use cases.
Partner with engineering to translate vision into a sequenced, high-impact roadmap with tangible milestones.
Prioritize client needs and communicate trade-offs with clear rationale.
Shape the client experience end-to-end from first conversation to go-live.
Collaborate with banking and partnerships to enable scalable PSP/bank integrations across Payward entities.
Incorporate compliance, risk, and legal requirements early in the roadmap.
Define and track platform success metrics and adoption indicators.
