Job summary

Kyriba in Warsaw (hybrid) seeks a Sr Director of Core Platform Engineering to define and build Kyriba’s modern platform ecosystem. You will lead engineers, architects, and managers to deploy scalable platform services across global squads, enabling rapid, reliable fintech software delivery.

You will drive monolith deconstruction, real-time event processing, AI integration, and an internal developer platform to empower product squads while meeting enterprise security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading platform, distributed systems, or AI engineering teams for large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Deep knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka), API design, workflow engines, and high-throughput data processing.
• Experience modernizing monoliths into cloud-native microservices while preserving business continuity.
• Ability to manage internal developer tools as products, balancing debt reduction with delivery.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including multi-squad scale across international sites.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end design, implementation, and lifecycle management of platform microservices, shared UI libraries, and data access layers.
• Define and execute a unified platform roadmap spanning applicative platformization and AI enablement.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Cloud Infra to align deliverables with cloud-native practices.
• Establish incident management, observability, deployment pipelines, and capacity planning across domains.
