Job summary

Zowie is expanding its enterprise platform in Poland, seeking a DevOps Engineer to own end‑to‑end platform capabilities—from design to production ownership.

You’ll work across AWS and GCP, improve reliability, scale, and developer experience, collaborating with teams to enable secure, compliant, multi‑cloud operations. This role emphasizes ownership, proactive problem solving, and delivering pragmatic platform solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering roles.
• Experience with GCP or AWS (IAM, networking, compute, storage, common managed services).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code in a multi-datacenter/multi-cloud deployment setup.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic can-do attitude.
• High degree of ownership and desire to drive projects from start to finish.
• Good familiarity with CI/CD processes and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Work with AWS and GCP infrastructure (IaC, networking, compute, IAM, secrets), secure access and authorization mechanisms (DB auth, IAM flows, audit).
• Communicate with various stakeholders to understand different infrastructure-related challenges, provide solution plans and ensure success of the initiatives you own.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand their workflows, pain points, and constraints; ensure platform decisions improve developer experience.
