Job summary

Red Commerce Schweiz GmbH is seeking a Platform Engineer for a 3-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension, to support an AWS Security project. The role is remote within the EU and involves governance, migration and lifecycle management of MCP servers in an Enterprise AI Agent Development Platform.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years as a Platform or Data engineer, experience with Python ETL, enterprise governance workflows, and registry governance, plus familiarity with MCP, AI

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Platform or Data engineer.
• Experience with python for ETL scripting.
• Experience with enterprise governance workflows.
• Experience with registry governance and lifecycle management.
• Experience with migration and onboarding processes.
• Strong Understanding of approval gates and lifecycle controls.
• Experience working within enterprise/cloud platforms.
• Good knowledge with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Good AI knowledge.

Platform Engineer - 3 Month Contract Role + Likely Extension - Remote - EU

RED now has a new contract opportunity for a Platform Engineer to join one of our key partners for an AWS Security project. The initial contract will be for 3 months with likely 10-month extension.

This full-time contract is due to start in ASAP, and will be Remote in Europe.

Role responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the governance, migration and lifecycle management of MCP servers within an Enterprise AI Agent Development Platform. You will build and implement processes to ensure MCP servers are onboarded, approved, migrated and managed correctly within the enterprise registry, with appropriate governance and approval controls.
