EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Platform Architect to lead the architectural vision and governance of a Microsoft Fabric-based One-Data Platform. You will partner with stakeholders and engineering teams to design scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals.
The role emphasizes end-to-end architecture, reference patterns, and ADRs, with emphasis on data modernization and governance across enterprise landscapes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in data/software/platform architecture in enterprise environments.
- 3+ years in Platform Architect or Data Architect role.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture of the One-Data Platform built on Microsoft Fabric.
- Lead engineering teams and provide technical guidance across the platform lifecycle.
- Define reference architectures, patterns, and ADRs aligned with enterprise standards.
- Drive DataOps, governance, and platform operations best practices.
- Lead migration and consolidation of legacy data ecosystems into Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Data Governance for GDPR and policy alignment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform and data teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data platform roadmaps.
- Act as trusted advisor on data platform modernization and strategy.
