Job summary

Eaton’s Mobility Group is looking for a Plant Controller in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. You will report to the Plant Manager and Finance, guiding financial performance, improving internal controls, and driving cost-saving initiatives at the plant.

The role requires strong accounting expertise, leadership of the finance team, and a deep understanding of US GAAP and local statutory requirements to support strategic operational decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 9+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for the plant.
• Provide financial guidance to the Plant Manager and leadership team, supporting business decisions, cost control, and operational strategies.
• Monitor and analyze financial and operational results, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency of financial reporting in line with US GAAP, SOX, and local laws.
• Oversee budgeting, product costing, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
• Manage the plant’s internal control environment and safeguard assets.
• Evaluate capital investments with business case reviews and post-investment audits.
• Lead and develop the finance team, driving continuous improvement and cost savings.

Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Plant Controller to join our team in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to Finance, the Plant Controller plays a key role in managing the plant’s financial performance, providing insights and analysis to support operational and business decisions. The position also ensures compliance with financial policies and regulations while driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the plant’s financial planning processes, including budgets, forecasts, profit plans, strategic plans, and performance reporting.
• Provide financial guidance to the Plant Manager and leadership team, supporting business decisions, cost control, and operational strategies.
• Monitor and analyze financial and operational results, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to improve performance.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial reporting in compliance with corporate policies, US GAAP, SOX, and local statutory requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, product costing, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and financial systems to maintain strong financial controls.
• Manage the plant’s internal control environment, safeguarding company assets and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
• Evaluate and monitor capital investments, including business case reviews, expenditure tracking, and post-investment audits.
• Lead and develop the finance team while driving continuous improvement, productivity, cost‑saving initiatives, and operational excellence programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements.
