Zurich Insurance Group, Kraków Shared Service Centre, is seeking a Planning and Performance Management Specialist to support monthly, quarterly and yearly closings and provide insightful financial analysis. The role collaborates on local, regional and global projects with a proactive, can-do approach.

Requirements include 2-3 years in finance/controlling, FP&A experience, a degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, fluent English, and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost allocation to services, products and projects.
• Prepare and provide regular expense reporting.
• Communicate with data providers and manage incoming/outgoing communications.

Place of work: Cracow

Purpose:

To perform specific Planning and Performance Management activities relevant for the regular performance management reporting processes for insurance all business unit and related expense by providing sound financial analysis. The role gives opportunity to participate in local, regional and global projects and that is why we are looking for a proactive, flexible person with a “can do” approach.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, coordinate, analyze and generally support monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings (SAP and other tools), incl. accruals/booking to cost centers
• Prepare & provide regular planning and performance reporting activities, including analysis of data, gathering input from relevant stakeholders
• Response to query for cost-center managers / respond to business queries; be responsible for the financial analysis and research on ad-hoc topics to support performance reporting and planning activities
• Deliver cost allocation to services (products/projects) and customers
• Prepare & provide regular expense reporting
• Contacts directly with data providers – independently handles incoming/outgoing communication written and verbal

Candidate’s profile:

• At least 2-3 years of relevant finance/controlling experience
• Practical experience in FP&A/management accounting & reporting/cost controlling area
• Finance and Accounting, Economy/Controlling or equivalent academic degree
• Very good Excel skills
• Experience in SAP is a must-have
• PowerBI experience is desired
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• English skills – fluent written and spoken

It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.

This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
