Job summary

Tieto Deutschland GmbH in Kraków seeks a developer to combine Python, SQL and data tooling with a subsurface and drilling data context. You will discuss wells, trajectories, logs, markers, seismic cubes and geomodels with SMEs to shape data products.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines for subsurface and drilling data, creating QC dashboards, integrating seismic and well metadata for cataloguing, and enabling AI/ML workflows with seismic metadata.

Qualifications

• Domain expertise in subsurface data objects and relationships.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake, Azure and BI tools.
• Familiarity with data sources like Petrel, DISKOS, Collabor8.
• English mandatory; Norwegian a plus.
• Ability to work iteratively in an agile setup with SMEs and product owners.

Responsibilities

• Specify, develop data pipelines for subsurface and drilling data flows.
• Build and maintain data products (for seismic, well data) on the data platform.
• Align with teams supporting and creating production data products.
• Develop QC dashboards for data products.
• Integrate seismic and well metadata for cataloguing
• Enable AI / ML workflows on seismic and well metadata (classification, similarity search) and integrate with commercial seismic ML tools.
• Partner with geophysicists and SMEs to translate seismic workflows into reusable data and AI solutions.
