Job summary

Tieto in Poznań, Poland, seeks a Developer who blends Python, SQL, and data tooling with subsurface and drilling data knowledge. You will discuss wells, trajectories, logs, seismic cubes, and geomodels with SMEs to define practical data products.

You will build data pipelines for subsurface data, develop QC dashboards, integrate metadata, and enable AI workflows on seismic and well data. English is essential; familiarity with Petrel, DISKOS, and cloud-native services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of subsurface data objects and their relationships.
• Experience with Python and SQL; familiarity with Snowflake and cloud services.
• Awareness of seismic AI services and Microsoft AI suite.
• Strong stakeholder management and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Specify and develop data pipelines for subsurface and drilling data flows.
• Build and maintain data products for seismic and well data on the data platform.
• Align with teams supporting production data products.
• Develop QC dashboards for data products.
• Integrate seismic and well metadata for cataloguing.
• Enable AI/ML workflows on seismic and well metadata.
• Partner with geophysicists to translate workflows into data solutions.
