Job summary

Tieto is seeking a developer to craft data pipelines and AI-enabled data products for subsurface and drilling data in Kraków. You will discuss subsurface data objects, work with Petrel/Studio, DISKOS, and collaborate with SMEs to translate workflows into scalable data solutions.

Ideal candidates understand Python/SQL, Snowflake, Azure, and BI tools; English is mandatory, Norwegian a plus, and agile collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Domain expertise: deep understanding of subsurface data objects and relationships.
• Data & technology: Python, SQL, Snowflake, Azure, Power BI / Streamlit; Geo apps knowledge is a plus.
• AI utilisation: aware of cloud-native seismic AI services and Microsoft AI tools.
• Soft skills & working style: strong stakeholder management and English mandatory; proactive and agile.

Responsibilities

• Specify, develop data pipelines for subsurface and drilling data flows.
• Build and maintain data products for seismic and well data on the data platform.
• Align with teams supporting and creating production data products.
• Develop QC dashboards for data products.
• Integrate seismic and well metadata for cataloguing.
• Enable AI / ML workflows on seismic and well metadata and integrate with seismic ML tools.
• Partner with geophysicists to translate workflows into reusable data and AI solutions.
