is seeking an Inspector to perform on-site inspection work at terminals, refineries, and ships, focusing on measurement, sampling, and supervision of petroleum products and lubricants in line with API standards and Saybolt guidelines. The role requires travel, strong analytical skills, ability to work in physically demanding environments, and strict compliance with safety regulations, with responsibilities spanning tank gauging, bunkering surveys, and cargo transfer

Qualifications

Secondary or higher education.
Experience in a similar position is preferred.
Valid Category B driver’s license.
Ability to communicate effectively with third parties on business matters.
Capability to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

Responsibilities

Measure and quantify liquids on ships, shore tanks and rail cars.
Determine quantity of goods using draft surveys and ship measurements.
Assess vessels for oil residues, petroleum products and lubricants after discharge.
Supervise loading and unloading of crude oil and products.
Collect and label samples for laboratory analysis.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Travel as required to perform inspections.
