CHEP is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our EMEA team on a 12-month FTC. You will oversee payrolls for Poland and Baltics, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance while collaborating with external providers and HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.

You will manage day-to-day payroll operations, statutory reporting, and process improvements, with a focus on accuracy, data protection, and regulatory updates across the remit. Fluency in Polish and English is essential.

• Knowledge of TMF Horizon
• Knowledge of Polish legislation
• MS Office Intermediate (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail; experience with remote locations

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day payroll administration for Poland and Baltics across in-house, managed service, and outsourced platforms.
• Meet statutory and business compliance requirements; investigate and correct errors in system or process issues.
• Execute monthly payroll approvals and funding documentation on schedule.
• Perform statutory reporting and payments, including year-end.
• Complete internal and external audits as directed.
• Collaborate with external vendors as required.
• Handle compensation & benefits administration related to payroll (Ex-Pat, Share Plan, Stock Options).
• Ensure compliance with local policy, data protection and confidentiality standards.

Job description

Join our EMEA Payroll team on a 12-month FTC and play a key role in ensuring employees across multiple countries (Poland and Baltics) are paid accurately and on time. This is a remote position, working closely with external payroll providers, HR, Finance, and business stakeholders, you'll support payroll operations, statutory compliance, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Work with the third-party providers, processing all payrolls for the countries in your remit

Work with business stakeholders to ensure that the payroll meets with their requirements and that all employees are paid accurately and on time.

Ensure payroll compliance with local legislation and government requirements, keeping up to date with legislative changes and ensuring where appropriate you are notifying local HR of any required actions

What You'll Do

• Day-to-day payroll administration on in-house, managed service and outsourced platforms
• Meet all day-to-day statutory and business compliance requirements, investigating and correcting any errors in the case of system or process issues
• Execute monthly payroll approvals according to schedule, preparing documentation to support monthly funding approval by HR Operations Manager, accurately and on time
• Execute statutory reporting and payments, including statistics and year end
• Execute internal and external audit requirements as directed.
• Work with external vendors as required for your activities .
• Compensation & Benefit Administration relating to Payroll, including Ex-Pats, Share Plan and Stock Options
• Ensure you are complying with local policy and operating in line with company and HR guidelines on conduct , zero harm , data protection and data handling. Adhere to given guidelines on segregation of duties and confidentiality.

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in Polish and English language
