Job summary

Planet offers integrated software and technology solutions for payments with a global footprint. The Payroll Specialist role supports international payroll processing, vendor management, and stakeholder communication in a hybrid Warsaw setting.

You will ensure timely payroll processing across countries, maintain data accuracy, and back up the Payroll Manager as needed, contributing to seamless employee compensation processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with international payrolls and global teams.
• Fluent in English plus other languages helpful (German, French, Spanish, Portuguese).

Responsibilities

• Manage and control vendor relationship, to provide accurate and timely processing of the monthly/bi-monthly/weekly payroll for countries in scope of responsibility.
• Review accuracy and completeness of payroll data which needs to be processed.
• Control payroll results delivered by payroll vendors, manage timely approvals and payment processing by relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships through effective and timely communication with internal and external customers.
• Commit to the existing payroll processes, procedures and policies and suggest changes for improving the responsiveness, efficiency and accuracy.
• Actively participate in the scheduled transition projects.
• Act as a backup to other Payroll Specialists
• Act as a backup to Payroll Manager

Role overview

• Deliver payroll processes and procedures
• Deliver high-quality customer service
• Manage questions from employees, outsource suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
• Escalation point in case of Payroll Manager absence

What you will do

Who you are

• Experience in processing international payrolls and working within global payroll services and teams
• English / German / French / Spanish / Portuguese speaker
• Ability to complete work assignments within required time constraints and meet critical deadlines
• Ability to take responsibility for the team's work during the absence of the payroll manager
