Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Payments Support Specialist EMEA to back payment operations across the EMEA region for Ria, Xe, and Dandelion. You will work with internal teams and partners to ensure smooth processing, API integrations, issue resolution, and operational excellence in a fast-paced international environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/IT/Data Science and 3+ years in API integrations or payment operations, with strong REST, XML/JSON, Zendesk, Jira, and Power BI skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in API integrations, technical support, or payment operations.
• Strong REST API, Web Services, XML, JSON knowledge; API testing tools experience.
• Experience in Fintech/Banking/Payments is a plus; excellent English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of Zendesk, Jira, Power BI; basic coding in Java/Python/PHP beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to partners by troubleshooting operational issues.
• Monitor payment transaction flows and identify anomalies in delivery.
• Investigate, resolve, or escalate incidents; support API integrations and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain API configs, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
• Conduct functional/regression testing to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and vendors; prepare status reports.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Join Ria Money Transfer as a Payments Support Specialist EMEA and play a key role in supporting payment operations across the EMEA region for Ria, Xe, and Dandelion services. In this position, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth payment processing, API integrations, issue resolution, and operational excellence in a fast-paced international environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide first-line support to partners by troubleshooting and resolving operational and technical issues.
• Monitor payment transaction flows and identify anomalies or errors in payment instruction delivery.
• Investigate, resolve, or escalate incidents to the appropriate functional teams when required.
  Support API integrations, maintenance activities, and partner onboarding processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
• Conduct functional and regression testing to ensure system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and external vendors while preparing reports on integration status, issues, and resolutions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in API integrations, technical support, payment operations, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, XML, JSON, and API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as Fintech, Banking, Payments, or Money Transfer is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity with tools such as Zendesk, Jira, Power BI, and a basic understanding of programming languages (Java, Python, PHP) considered a plus.
