Biogen Poland is seeking a Payments Analyst II to join the Global Business Services Procure To Pay (GBS PTP) team in Warsaw. The role focuses on managing electronic and manual payments across multiple affiliates and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
You will support internal and external customers, maintain internal controls, and drive process improvements in a global, hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in an accounting or payables processing function.
- Previous corporate experience as a payment specialist or in finance.
- Fluent in English.
- High level of expertise in Procure To Pay processes and understanding of all PTP processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform electronic and manual payments in compliance with policies and instructions.
- Monitor cash flow and cash forecast.
- Conduct daily checks for potential duplicate payments and perform analysis and investigation.
- Address payment rejections and returns promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external parties.
- Act as a liaison between business units, bank representatives, and Treasury Departments.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and coordinate daily workload and task distribution within the team.
- Support the team in resolving complex AP and payment inquiries, serving as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Log incidents, drive resolution within the team, and review incidents with management.
- Coordinate new joiner onboarding process and support team leadership in managing the team.

As a Payments Analyst II for the Global Business Services Procure To Pay (GBS PTP) team, based in Warsaw, you will play a pivotal role in managing payments for ECP Affiliates, MART, LATAM, Brazil, and US/CA. Your main responsibilities will include performing both electronic and manual payments while ensuring compliance with internal policies. You will be instrumental in supporting and guiding internal and external customers in the payment process, maintaining the internal control environment, and driving continuous process improvements. This fixed-term 24-month role offers the opportunity to resolve complex accounts payable inquiries and specific requests as a Subject Matter Expert. Your contributions will ensure timely payments, enhance compliance and efficiency in the PTP area, and provide valuable feedback and data analysis to bolster process improvement efforts.

- Proficiency with online banking tools and Oracle ERP.
- Fluency in additional languages.
This is a fixed term employment for 24 months. Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland. This role is in hybrid model of work. #LI-Hybrid

The base compensation range for this role is: zł93,000.00-zł124,500.00
