Job summary

Weltrade is a remote-first fintech company with over 19 years in FX and online trading. You will join the Onboarding Team of the Payments department to manage provider relationships, optimise terms, and ensure robust coverage across key markets.

Responsibilities include performance reviews, tariff renegotiations, expanding payment method coverage, and close collaboration with Analytics, Legal, Compliance and Product.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in partnership or account management in payments.
• Strong knowledge of payment economics, fees, FX, settlements.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms with providers.

About your Role

You’ll join the Onboarding Team of the Payments department, reporting to the Onboarding Team Lead. Your mission is to manage and strengthen our relationships with payment providers and P2P agents, from onboarding new partners to optimising live ones.

You’ll be responsible for provider performance, commercial terms, coverage and resilience of the portfolio. Working closely with Analytics, Legal, Compliance and Product, you’ll make sure payment flows run smoothly, costs go down, and every key market has a reliable backup provider.

Responsibilities

• Run regular performance reviews with providers: success rate, processing times, incidents, client escalations - based on Analytics Team data
• Renegotiate tariffs, limits and reserves; reduce the cost of payments based on our volumes
• Expand coverage with connected providers: new countries and payment methods
• Handle systemic issues with providers: mass declines, settlement delays, changes in risk policy - together with the Analytics Team Lead
• Keep provider contacts up to date for the Analytics Team: support, second-level escalation, account manager
• Manage P2P agents: limits, performance, disputes - based on Analytics Team data
• Maintain the map of primary and backup providers for each key market and review it quarterly
• Run provider offboarding: exit plan, route migration with the Product Owner, closing balances with the Settlement & Reconciliation Specialist
• Review providers' and agents' licenses and sanctions status once a year - together with Compliance
• Back up the Onboarding Team Lead when needed

You have

• 3+ years in account or partnership management at a PSP, acquirer or payment orchestrator, or in the payments team of a forex/CFD broker, iGaming, fintech or crypto company
• Strong understanding of payment economics: percentage and fixed fees, FX markup, rolling reserves, settlement terms, limits
• Knowledge of payment methods in emerging markets: cards, local bank transfers, e-wallets, QR, mobile money, P2P, crypto
• Proven experience negotiating commercial terms with providers
• Understanding of providers' KYB and AML requirements
• Confident in Excel or Google Sheets: comparing offers, analysing volumes and costs
• Fluent English (C1)
• Ukrainian and Russian as a big advantage
• Higher education in business, finance, economics or a related field

• Keeps many providers and open issues in parallel without losing track

• High-risk verticals: forex/CFD, iGaming, crypto
• Experience with P2P or payment agent networks
