Job summary

Amentum seeks a Custodial Supervisor to lead day-to-day custodial and housing operations for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will manage facilities, coordinate housing, and ensure safety and compliance across electrical, water, and HVAC systems.

The role requires overseeing project planning, budgeting, inventory control, and staff performance, with international travel as needed and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of custodial service management experience.
• High school degree or equivalent; advanced knowledge of building operations and management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
• Passport should be valid for at least one year at time of hire.
• Ability to obtain country-specific visas per US DoS guidance.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain deployment readiness.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
• Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Establish work requirements, coordinate, prioritise and complete short and long term projects.
• Oversee cleaning, housing procedures, and processes for the base.
• Develop annual plans, budgets and short/long range planning; monitor against plans and budgets.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing and inventory control for the facility.
• Maintain building integrity and facilities systems (electrical, water, HVAC).
• Oversee facility operation including maintenance of HVAC and electrical systems.
• Provide work and service requests as required.
• Oversee and implement all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure safety requirements are observed.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on facilities activities and projects.
• Manage employment, training and performance evaluation of facilities staff.
• Coordinate housing assignments with USAG-KA representatives.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
