Job summary

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services, seeks a Material Management Supervisor for the Diego Garcia program. You will oversee requisition, inventory, warehousing, and transportation, and perform stevedore tasks, with supervisory duties on hiring, performance, and schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years in DoD MM systems, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and passport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
• Minimums of five years of experience in managing a DOD Material Management System (GATES, DSS, DPS) experience preferred.
• Strong computer and software skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of BMC Ready preferred.
• Experience in a similar role, ideally at a US military or US government installation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US passport and driver's license.
• Ability to pass PACOM medical requirements and maintain them for deployment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
• Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Diego Garcia program with requisition, inventory management, warehousing and transportation services.
• Perform stevedore services and operate related equipment and machinery.
• Supervisory duties including hiring, performance monitoring and evaluations, and schedule changes.
• Availability onsite after the Government’s regular working hours as needed.
• Adhere to safety, quality and procedure compliance as described in plans and policies.
• Report to program leadership and contribute to mission success.
