Job summary

Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), seeks experienced Clinic Registered Nurses (RNs) for a long-term contract at Hopi Health Care Center in Polacca, Arizona. Full-time, 40 hours/week, day & night shifts, with travel and housing stipends available. Minimum 2 years of RN experience in outpatient/urgent care is required.

Credentialing may take up to 90 days; prior IHS experience is a plus. U.S.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Outpatient/Urgent care experience
• Must be experienced with patients of all ages
• Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily in the United States
• Must be able to pass a federal security clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
• Coordinate patient care, follow-up needs, and referrals.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care while following established clinical policies and procedures.

This opportunity allows you to provide high-quality outpatient care to patients of all ages while gaining valuable experience in a unique healthcare environment.

Start Date: Aug/Sept

Schedule: Full-time | Day & Night Shifts Available

Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) - no weekends no holidays

Contract Length: Minimum 6 months | Up to 1 year with additional extension options available

What You'll Do
