Job summary

DNV, a global leader in assurance and risk management, seeks an HR IT specialist to manage and enhance Oracle HCM Cloud-based HR applications within GSS IT. You will handle HDL/HDSL data uploads, integrations, and 2nd level support for the HR system landscape.

You will engage in HR IT projects, coordinate with HR and IT teams globally, and help extend the Oracle HCM Cloud modules across the organization. Strong SQL, API, and integration skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data extraction and HDL/HDSL uploads.
• Experience configuring, developing and maintaining HR applications (Oracle HCM Cloud).
• Knowledge of HR-IT solutions, especially Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end HR business processes.
• Experience in integrations, data exchange and payroll data integrations (HCM Extracts).
• Experience with API calls (REST/JSON) and tooling (Eclipse, SoapUI/Postman).
• Experience in standard IT support processes including ticket handling.
• Self-driven with ownership mindset and ability to deliver to deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive and organized.
• Team-oriented with good networking across cultures.

Responsibilities

About The Role

The focus for this role will be to manage, support and enhance the DNV HR applications and participate in GSS IT projects related to HR processes ensuring alignment and co-operation with the HR community and the DNV overall system landscape.

DNV is utilizing Oracle HCM Cloud platform including different PaaS services and Seertech’s iLearning Plus as a global HR system. There are large opportunities and possibilities to participate both in the operation and initiatives implementing further modules. Main Tasks Include

• Ensure stable and well performing HR applications & services.
• Responsible for executing functional and technical 2nd level application support for the DNV HR application environment which includes:
• Application analysis and configuration
• Alignment with vendor
• Communication with users
• Ensure alignment of deliveries and services within the GSS IT Global Application Services environment.
• Contribute to HCM release management by regression testing and monitoring the relevant documentations and community platforms.
• Provide consulting services to the HR Business in terms of enhancements / future developments of process- and IT-solutions.
• Execute and manage configuration enhancements and technical changes based on new requirements.
• Participate in projects related to our HR applications and IT systems.

About You

• Must have: Proven experience in data extraction (OTBI, SQL proficiency) and mass data uploads (HDL/HDSL).
• Experience particularly in configuration, development and maintenance of HR application: Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Knowledge of HR-IT solutions (e.g. Time and Labor, Individual and Workforce Compensation, Security, Benefits, ORC, etc.), ideally within respective Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
• Good understanding of end-to-end HR business processes.
• Experience in integrations principles specifically focused on data exchange and payroll data integrations (HCM Extracts).
• Experience with API calls (REST/JSON) and with tooling: Eclipse or comparable Java IDE and Soap UI/Postman
• Experience in standard IT support processes including ticket handling.
• Self-driven with the willingness to take ownership in work tasks.
• Focus on delivery of results and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
