Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture for Planning (EPBCS), FCCS, EDMCS, ARCS, and Narrative Reporting. You will govern technical standards, oversee integrations, and drive data architecture across Finance and IT.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle EPM/Hyperion experience and Oracle Cloud EPM.
• Experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Technical Lead in enterprise EPM environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with metadata design, hierarchies, business rules, calculation scripts, and Groovy scripting.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end architecture, technical standards, integrations, and platform roadmap for Oracle EPM applications.
• Provide technical leadership and delivery oversight across implementation and enhancement initiatives.

The team

The Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team operates within a collaborative Finance and IT Center of Excellence (CoE) model that drives planning, consolidation, financial close, reporting, and master data governance across the organization. Finance owns business processes and functional design, while IT is accountable for platform architecture, integrations, security, and operational excellence. Working closely with Finance leaders, project teams, and implementation partners, the team ensures Oracle EPM solutions are scalable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with both business objectives and enterprise technology standards.

The role

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle EPM Solution Architect to serve as the senior technical authority for our Oracle EPM platform. This role is responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end architecture, technical standards, integrations, and platform roadmap across key Oracle EPM applications including Planning (EPBCS), FCCS, EDMCS, ARCS, and Narrative Reporting. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and delivery oversight across implementation and enhancement initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards. Working closely with Finance, IT, and delivery partners, you will guide technical strategy, review solution designs, oversee integrations and data architecture, support complex issue resolution, and drive governance practices that enable long‑term platform stability and business value.

What You´ll Bring

• 8+ years of Oracle EPM/Hyperion experience, including Oracle Cloud EPM solutions.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Technical Lead within enterprise EPM environments.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Planning (EPBCS), FCCS, and related Oracle EPM modules.
• Strong hands‑on experience with metadata design, hierarchies, business rules, calculation scripts, and Groovy scripting.
• Expertise in EPM integrations, automation, APIs, EPM Automate, and enterprise data flows.
• Experience designing and governing EPM security models, application architecture, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of FP&A, financial consolidation, close management, and financial reporting processes.
• Proven track record providing technical governance, delivery oversight, and quality assurance across large‑scale EPM programs.
• Experience integrating Oracle EPM with ERP systems, data warehouses, and enterprise reporting platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
