Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Data Services - Solution Architect to join the Service Integration organization. You will own end-to-end solution development and delivery performance for assigned services and products, aligning with business objectives.

The role involves leading architecture across Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, and ITOM, translating requirements into scalable solutions, and mentoring global delivery teams. Poland location, on-site employment expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions with strong ITOM and platform architecture.
• Proven experience in Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, Event Management, CSDM, and ServiceNow governance.
• Experience defining product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and translating business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITOM and OT product roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end solution creation across Data Services offerings.
• Design and govern integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms and cloud services.
• Drive CMDB, Service Mapping, and product visibility to improve resilience and maturity.
• Provide technical leadership and architecture governance across global delivery teams.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Define and execute the ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITOM and OT product roadmap, aligning platform capabilities with business and operational objectives.
• Lead end-to-end solution creation and development across all Data Services offerings.
• Lead architecture activities across Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, Event Management, Service Mapping, and AIOps domains.
• Translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions and delivery roadmaps.
• Support prioritization of features, define value cases, and drive successful implementations.
• Create product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
• Design and govern integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms, cloud services, monitoring tools, and third-party applications.
• Drive CMDB, Service Mapping, and digital product visibility initiatives to improve operational resilience and service management maturity.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, platform best practices, and mentoring across global delivery teams.
• Continuously improve platform health, security, scalability, and adoption through innovation, performance optimization, and stakeholder engagement

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions with strong expertise in ITOM and platform architecture.
• Proven experience in Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, Event Management, CSDM, and ServiceNow platform governance.
• Experience defining product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and translating business needs into technical solutions and product requirements.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including integration and automation capabilities.
• Strong understanding of AI-driven platforms, automation technologies, and emerging enterprise AI use cases.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS Discovery, CIS Event Management, and other relevant platform certifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and leadership skills with experience working directly with executives and global teams
