Nasdaq is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator in Wrocław, Poland, reporting to Sr. Director - Delivery Management.

You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring regulatory reporting and data management platforms run with precision and resilience. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong data infrastructure capabilities in a regulated financial environment, with a hybrid work setup in a location that supports in-office collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on expertise in Query Performance Tuning to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues.
• Strong Oracle DBA skills including installation, configuration, patching, and ongoing administration.
• Experience in Database Administration across enterprise-scale environments.
• Demonstrated capability in Database and Infrastructure Monitoring using standard tools to ensure health and availability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable solutions on the AxiomSL platform for regulatory reporting.
• Optimize query performance and database efficiency to support high-availability data infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain Oracle database environments ensuring reliability and security.
• Manage configuration, maintenance, and performance benchmarking of databases.
• Monitor database and infrastructure health, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize risk.

As a Oracle Database Administrator reporting to Sr. Director - Delivery Management, you\'ll play a critical role in bridging business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring Nasdaq\'s regulatory reporting and data management platforms operate with precision and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions within the AxiomSL platform, aligned to regulatory and reporting standards.
• Optimize query performance and database efficiency to support robust, high-availability data infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain Oracle database environments, ensuring reliability, security, and operational continuity.
• Manage database administration activities including configuration, maintenance, and performance benchmarking.
• Monitor database and infrastructure health, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize operational risk.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on expertise in Query Performance Tuning, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database performance issues.
• Strong Oracle DBA skills, including installation, configuration, patching, and ongoing administration.
• Solid experience in Database Administration across enterprise-scale environments.
• Demonstrated capability in Database and Infrastructure Monitoring, using industry-standard tools to ensure system health and availability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AxiomSL ControllerView or comparable regulatory reporting platforms.
• Experience working with different database platforms.

This position is located in Wroc\u0142aw, Poland and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment with at least 3 days a week in-office.

The annual gross base pay for this role is zł146,000 - zł285,000. At Nasdaq, we use a structured job and career framework to make sure growth opportunities are clear and fair. The pay range you see reflects the full salary band for this job level, including room for progression over time. The actual offer will depend on factors like your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will fall within a portion of the posted range that\'s appropriate for this role.
