Nasdaq, Inc. in Wrocław, Poland, is seeking a Software Engineer reporting to the VP of Product Management to design and deliver sophisticated software for Nasdaq's AxiomSL AI product.
You will work across the full development lifecycle, shaping architecture and implementation in a fast-growing, innovation-driven team. The role emphasizes problem solving, collaboration with engineering, product, and client-facing teams, and mentoring colleagues.
As a Software Engineer reporting to the VP, Product Management, you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering sophisticated software solutions that power Nasdaq's AxiomSL AI product. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from architecture to implementation, bringing your expertise to a fast-growing, innovation-driven team. Please note: This is an urgent hiring requirement, and we are seeking a candidate who can join the team no later than 1 October 2026.
Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions across new and existing applications and systems architecture. Lead technical analysis of complex assignments, including coding, testing, debugging, and delivering robust outcomes. Drive security-conscious development practices and ensure cross-platform compatibility across products. Build reliable integrations between AI services, structured data sources, and enterprise platform components. Mentor team members, championing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong software development experience, including Python, for building scalable backend services, integrations, and data-driven applications, with strong SQL skills for working with structured enterprise data. Experience building and integrating APIs, services, or platform components within enterprise application environments, including data pipelines, transformation, and validation. Experience working on AI/ML-enabled products or platform capabilities, including integrating or delivering AI-driven solutions in production or near-production environments. Clear communicator with proven ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and client-facing teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
Master's degree in a specialized area such as financial markets, mathematics, or computer science. Experience in fintech, capital markets, or regulated technology environments. Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and their application within enterprise software platforms.

The annual gross base pay for this role is zł135,000 - zł263,000.

The pay range you see reflects the full salary band for this job level, including room for progression over time. The actual offer will depend on factors like your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will fall within a portion of the posted range that’s appropriate for this role.
