Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician in a full-time role in the Warsaw area to support Optometrists with patient care and education, ensuring efficient, high-quality experiences from start to finish.

You will conduct pre-testing, assist with specialty diagnostics, manage schedules, and help with documentation and communications with patients, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and professional collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye exam medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment.
• Experience maintaining patients’ records/files per HIPAA regulations.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations of patients prior to exam by the Optometrist, such as dilation, topicals, diagnostic medications, Optomap, auto refractor, visual acuity, etc.
