Adtran is expanding its System Verification Test (SVT) team in Poland, seeking a versatile engineer who thrives in a lab environment. You will build and maintain test setups, run customer-like end-to-end tests, and automate repetitive tasks using Python, Robot Framework, and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Physics or similar technical field.
• Some experience in testing, validation, integration or hands-on role (industry, internship or university projects).
• Scripting or programming skills in any language.
• Practical, hands-on attitude with real hardware and willingness to build setups.

Responsibilities

• Build, wire and maintain lab test setups: network elements, optics, fibers, traffic generators, measurement equipment.
• Plan and run end-to-end test scenarios from the customer perspective.
• Automate tests and repetitive lab work (Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins).
• Use AI tools to speed up work: drafting test cases, generating scripts, analyzing logs and results.
• Investigate issues in depth and work with development to fix defects.
• Write test cases, results and defect reports in our test management system.
• Propose improvements to test processes, tools and lab.
• Learn new technologies and measurement equipment as the product evolves.
