What we’re looking for

We are looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for all budgetary, people development, and operational objectives for Inbound or Outbound. Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Area Managers, coaching and mentoring them to meet performance targets, fostering positive employee relations, and developing leadership bench strength within the network.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience in either Inbound or Outbound operations.
  • Lead the team and set clear expectations for Area Managers.
  • Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold managers accountable.
  • Drive quality initiatives, process improvements, and Lean projects to help the functional area and distribution center meet or exceed business goals.
  • Source and nurture ideas from managers and integrate them into improvement plans.
  • Share best practices across departments, shifts, and the network.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and Senior Operations Managers to secure resources and support for your initiatives and cross‑functional projects.
  • Manage end‑to‑end logistics operations, including budgeting, forecasting, recruitment, workforce planning, and financial analysis.
  • Optimize costs and performance through effective supply chain integration.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of operations experience (supply chain, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, retail, etc.).
  • Experience leading and managing a team of 10 or more people and developing them.
  • Experience in a similar logistical working environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong operations experience in a fast-growing company or industry.
  • 10+ years of operations experience (supply chain, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, retail, etc.).
  • Previous experience leading a rapid expansion plan.
  • Proven record of delivering multiple programs on time.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques.
  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
